The first weekend after the end of the summer movie season is generally one of the slowest weekends at the box office and is traditionally a dumping ground for movies the studios have no confidence in. The only film opening this weekend is the Nicolas Cage action film, Bangkok Dangerous.
The first weekend after the end of the summer movie season is generally one of the slowest weekends at the box office and is traditionally a dumping ground for movies the studios have no confidence in. The only film opening this weekend is the Nicolas Cage action film, Bangkok Dangerous. Mr. Cage has a spotty box office record when it comes to action flicks. For every hit like National Treasure there is a box office flop like Next. Bangkok Dangerous looks like it will join his list of flops and should debut with around $9.5M this weekend. I think Bankkok Dangerous does around $15-18M.. The rest sounds right to me also with the numbers being a little higher..just a feeling..Site looks great, good luck..I'll be watching each week..
