Ridley Scott pairs two of today’s most celebrated actors, Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe, for his new spy thriller, Body of Lies. The film is being reviewed well and audiences will certainly want to check out DiCaprio’s latest electrifying performance. The movie will open with around $18M this weekend.   Dennis Quaid lends his star power to The Express, the uplifting true story of the first African American to win the Heisman Trophy. The Express will find its way to $6M this weekend. The season’s first horror film, Quarantine opens this weekend and should find its way to $13M. Also opening is the family flick, City of Embers, which features Bill Murray and Tim Robbins. This movie seems to be lacking the magic it needs to make an impact at the box office. City of Embers should make around $5M this weekend. For the rest of my predictions, see the chart below.
