    Why does my video re-buffer?
    By fking @ 9:51 AM :: 677 Views :: 10 Comments :: :: Technical Questions

    Your video buffers due to insufficient bandwidth at the time you're streaming. Sometimes bandwidth varies due to peak usage in an area or on the internet as a whole. Before contacting technical support, you may wish to run the dslreports.com/speedtest to more accurately report your bandwidth at the time of the usage.

    I have 1.5Mbps internet service; why are my videos still re-buffering?
    By fking @ 9:43 AM :: 782 Views :: 14 Comments :: :: Technical Questions

    Please consider that 1.5Mbps is our MINIMUM suggested requirement. It is better to have broader bandwidth as is available in your area. Your 1.5Mbps internet service plan is not a concrete level of service. Your available bandwidth will still vary during the day. Still, some ISP's seem to have trouble delivering our high-quality streaming files--particularly those in rural areas.

    Some users with 1.5Mbps connections have seen their downstream vary from 0.4Mbps to 1.4Mbps due to internet traffic.  To assess your issue better, you may wish to visit a local WiFi hotspot or a friend's house to see if there are any differences in service. You may also want to run a spyware remover, virus remover or remove other streaming software that gathers information from the internet like Stock Tickers, RSS software, WeatherBug, etc., while watching the videos.
