Is My Internet Connection Fast Enough?

To watch video on FilmGO.net, you need a broadband connection with a download speed of at least 1.5mbps. You can get detailed information from your Internet Service Provider describing the connection speeds that you signed up for, or you can test your current connection speed at http://www.speedtest.net/
Please note that  multiple computers connected to your modem may slow your connection speed.  Programs running on your pc may also negatively impact your broadand connection speed.

Please tell us about your internet connection. We will need to know your connection speed, network kind & speed, internet provider, etc. You should test your internet bandwidth (speed) by referring to http://www.speedtest.net/.

Read the instructions and run the test to give us an accurate measure of your Internet Service Provider's (ISP) performance. This will help you identify if there is heavier traffic in your area or if processes are running that may decrease available bandwidth. Example: QCharts will require a great deal of bandwidth during the day. Limit processes that are running while viewing the videos.

Please tell us about the software specs you have running on your machine. Please be sure to address: version of Media Player, additional software running, browser, third party apps, firewalls, etc. At times, we are able to determine if there are conflicts or processes which lower bandwidth availability.

You should also expect certain times of the day to be slower as there is more traffic on the internet. You should avoid periods of the day where people are coming home from work & school. These times will affect everyone regardless of your internet connection as everyone runs on the same internet framework outside of your Internet Service Provider.
