 Set in Hawaii, ALL FOR MELISSA tells a story about a young man whose obsession for Hollywood’s “It” actress leads him on a quest to meet her and win her heart, but in the process, he discovers he may already be in love with another girl, his best friend.
Jared Rogers, 22, is a dreamer with a family that doesn’t understand him, an unfulfilling job as a computer troubleshooter, and a nemesis who lives to makes Jared’s life miserable. He is also madly in love with red hot actress Melissa Williams and has strange recurring dreams about her. Even in the company of his filmmaker friends, he is considered something of an oddity. The only person that really “gets” him is his longtime friend Alicia, but he is too distracted to notice her.
Although she has feelings for Jared, Alicia is more concerned about Jared’s happiness and helps Jared come up with a plan to meet Melissa: Jared will film the ultimate fan video, inviting Melissa to star in a music video project, directed by Jared. When Melissa’s manager refuses to respond, Jared comes up with an even more ambitious plan to go to Hollywood and use the media to reach Melissa. Failing at that, Jared returns to Hawaii and takes his anger out on everyone in sight, including Alicia, who decides he’s not worth the trouble anymore.
Soon, the only person that can stand Jared is his menehune-obsessed best friend Brandon, who convinces him to make up with Alicia. However, a few moments later, Jared meets Melissa on the beach, and Alicia becomes a distant memory. Or does she? You won’t believe how it ends.

It was almost like watching the movie Say Anything except there was a stalker twist to the film. Classic line in the movie was " Sorry I am autistic under pressure" . The other scene that cracked me up was when all the fat guys were riding the tiny motorcycles. lol The movie was awesome cant wait to see the next film by Gerard Elmore. |

I loved everything about this movie, from the dream sequences, to the fathers goofy flashbacks, to the scene where Jarod realizes who his true love is after all. Director Gerard Elmore is a genius. I think everyone will really enjoy this movie. I also watched Gerard Elmores short film Barry, also starring Milan Tresnak and it was hysterical. Check it out. |
