You have to love Steve Carell and Paul Rudd. They are two of the easiest stars to watch on the big screen, each exuding a casual charm and niceness. While Dinner for Schmucks isn’t their best and funniest collaboration, it is a genial, amusing comedy, wrapped around a gooey, moral center. There aren’t too many uproarious laughs to be had, but the film will keep you smiling and giggling the whole way through.

BOX OFFICE PREDICTIONS FOR THE WEEKEND OF JULY 23-25
After a nice debut last weekend, Christopher Nolan’s Inception will attempt to defend its box office crown against newcomer Salt starring Angelina Jolie. Without a doubt, it is going to be a tight race to the finish line. Also opening this week, Ramona and Beezus starring Joey King and Disney Channel star Selena Gomez based on the best-selling book by Beverly Cleary.

This weekend two new films open; 3-D animated family film, Despicable Me and 80’s action movie revival, Predators. Last weekend’s #1 film Eclipse will certainly have a huge drop off this weekend leaving the two new films to compete for this weekend’s box office crown.
